Bordeaux Sciences Agro has developed close partnerships with the university and scientific campuses in Bordeaux (the University of Bordeaux, IPB, INRA, CNRS, INSERM, IRSTEA, etc.).
Together with these partners Bordeaux Sciences Agro is helping to further numerous initiatives: Excellence Initiative (IdEX), Laboratory of Excellence (LabEx), Equipment Excellence (EquipEx), digital campus, etc. Bordeaux Sciences Agro is a founding member of the Institut des Sciences de la Vigne et du Vin (ISVV), and also belongs to INNO’VIN, the Aquitaine region wine sector cluster.
As a public institution under the authority of the French Ministry of Agriculture, Bordeaux Sciences Agro collaborates with the other institutions in France and abroad through a network of higher agronomic institutes, notably in the framework of joint courses.
Bordeaux Sciences Agro is also an associate member of the Agreenium consortium that unites the main French actors in research and higher agronomic and veterinary education.
For 50 years, Bordeaux Sciences Agro has been able to forge privileged relationships with wine companies. These ties supplement the courses taught by the school by helping increase the professionalism of the materials taught and by fostering the professional futures of the graduates by ensuring that the courses are suited to the real world.
