Thierry Dufourcq is an agricultural engineer (master of science degree) from Bordeaux Sciences Agro. He works since 2001 for the French Institute for Vine and Wine (IFV), a national research institution that helps the development of the wine industry in all the vineyard regions . He is managing several applied research projects in viticulture and enology located in the south western France vineyards. His skills concern vine and wine production technics : training systems, grapevine management, soil management as well as relationship between white wines production and aromatic components.
