Teacher-researcher in Wine business

Gergely Szolnoki grown up in Hungary and studied agricultural sciences – specialization marketing. He went to Germany in 2003 and finished his PhD at the Justus Liebig University in Giessen on the topic “Influence of packaging and sensory evaluation of wine on the willingness to buy”.
Gergely has been working at the Geisenheim University since 2007. He mainly focuses on research in wine business, however he teaches both in undergraduate and MSc programs as well as supervises PhD students.
Gergely has published several articles and books in German, English and Hungarian. His research covers fields such as market research, consumer behavior, market analysis, wine sensory and social media in the wine business.
