AAWE - 10th Annual Conference 2016 in Bordeaux, France

The American Association of Wine Economists (AAWE) will hold its 10th Annual Conference from 21 to 25 June, 2016 in Bordeaux, France. The presentations will be held in the city center, at the Law School of the University of Bordeaux at Place Pey Berland (next to the City Hall)

The conference, co-organized by Bordeaux Sciences Agro, the University of Bordeaux, Kedge Business School, and INSEEC Business School boasts more than 150 scientific presentations, all related to economic questions of the wine industry. Some professors of our Master of Business and Management Vineyard & Winery will be present there as speaker.

The 4-day conference will be attended by 250 researchers from all over the world and serves as a platform for academic exchange for questions related to wine trade, production, industry performance, wine demand, marketing, markets and prices, market organization and many more.

The conference is financially supported by the Aquitaine Limousin Poitou-Charentes region, the Idex, the Larefi, Kedge, INSEEC, Bordeaux Sciences Agro, and ISVV. In addition, the conference facilitates international networking, and also introduces the participants to the Bordeaux region and its products. The social program therefore includes various wine tastings and visits organized and sponsored, among others, by, the CIVB, the Grands Crus Classés en 1855 wine council, the Saint-Emilion wine council, Planète Bordeaux, Buzet wine cooperative, and numerous wine firms and wineries.
